My Story

My Story

There's a version of this story that starts long before there was a shop, a website, or even a name for any of it. It starts with a small-town mom who loved putting things together — an outfit, a moment. Someone who always had an eye for what felt elevated, even when life around her was anything but slow.

For years, being her own boss was just a quiet dream. The kind you think about while doing the dishes or driving carpool — not something you say out loud, because saying it out loud makes it real, and real is scary. It's easy to talk yourself out of waiting: not enough time, not enough money, not enough certainty it'll work.

But eventually, waiting started to feel scarier than trying.

That's when BD Collective began.

This brand was built on the idea that you shouldn't have to choose just one version of yourself. Some days call for something soft and elevated — cream and sage tones, effortlessly put-together. Other days call for a little more edge — bold, unapologetic, a little rough around the edges. Both of those women are real, and both deserved a place in this shop.

So instead of one tidy, matched aesthetic, BD Collective grew into a few worlds under one roof:

—BD Boutique— elevated and polished
—Outlaw — bold, rodeo-edged, a little rebellious
—Poured & Pretty — cups, tumblers, and coozies for everyday moments
—Hats—because every good outfit starts at the top

—Footwear—

Every item that goes out the door is meant to feel like it came from someone who actually cares — because it did. Just a small-town mom who finally stopped being scared and started building something of her own.

If you're here for the first time, welcome.

Thanks for being here, and for supporting a small business built one brave decision at a time. 🥹
